The North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services, Manager, Geriatric Mental Health and Long-Term Care is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician in Geriatric Mental Health.
This role involves (but not limited to):
- Providing knowledge and expertise in geriatric mental health, including responsive behaviours
- Providing support to the Waypoint Horizon Unit and the County of Simcoe Behaviour Support and Transition Unit (BSTU), advancing clinical care and outcomes
- Working collaboratively with patients, caregivers, members of the NSM SGS interdisciplinary team, other health care providers and relevant partners
- Providing direct, person-centred care, supported by evidence-based clinical best practices
This position is located in the North Simcoe Muskoka sub-region of North Simcoe. Travel throughout North Simcoe is required.
