This e-learning website was designed primarily for physicians working in Emergency Departments who want to provide optimal care to their older patients. It will also be of interest to all health care providers who see older patients as part of their practice - in primary care, hospital, long-term care or community.

This self-learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for Mainpro+ credits and is an accredited Self-Assessment Program for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Fall Prevention eLearning Module

Offered through the University of Ottawa Continuiing Professional Development, Geriatric Medicine, this module is intended for all Primary Care physicians and regulated health professionals assisting physicians in their community practice across Canada. The general knowledge regarding fall prevention will also be of assistance to any physician who, in their practice or ambulatory care, treats older adults. This module is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
